It's Holy Saturday, the body of the Christ is in the tomb, and all is lost. Here's the painting I did for the StillPoint Stations of the Cross art event [still on at the Jam Factory] - which I called 'all is lost'.
thanks for your comments - the creative process seemed to flow well, perhaps because I was trying to engage prayer-fully / meditatively with the story?
I am married to Gail, and father to James, Esther and Rachel. We live in South Devon from where I look after various pace bene projects which aim to bring peace and well-being to our world, local and global. I'm a writer, mentor and teacher around themes of community, spirituality and prayer. I was co-founder and first abbot of mayBe community in Oxford, and am now helping other similar projects and communities to come into being. I'm a partner in the StillPoint centre for the practise of Christian spirituality, I'm responsible for the CMS 'Small Missional Communities' project, and I'm an Associate Missioner with Fresh Expressions.
